Fable II Online Co-op Coming at Launch
October 20, 2008 - By the time Fable II ships tomorrow, a free downloadable patch will be available on Xbox Live that will enable gamers to join up and play cooperatively online, publisher Microsoft confirmed today.
In September, Microsoft said the game would not ship with the promised feature but would likely receive an online update during the first week of launch. At this month's Tokyo Game Show, Lionhead Studios head Peter Molyneux said he was "almost certain" that would happen on launch day (Oct. 21).
